Spring Break is the time every college student looks forward to. After months of cold weather and snow, you get to escape to paradise getaway for a week (if you’re lucky). If you’re one of the lucky ones, grab some sustainable clothing to make your trip even better.

Swimsuits:

Two awesome sustainable swimsuit brands are JVRNEY Swimwear and Azura Bay .

Azura Bay

JVRNEY Swimwear is “recycled, stylish, vivid, soft and sexy to all Nature and water lovers. Designed to endure as part of a full circle system, in harmony with our planet.” Their products are bright and colorful. Each item is $48 (top and bottoms separate).

Azura Bay is a “curated collection of luxurious and socially conscious lingerie, swim, and loungewear brands.” Their focus is on simple yet stylish bathing suits that work for an adventurous girl or the one who likes to lay under an umbrella and read (aka me). Their styles range from $55-120 (top and bottoms separate).

Dresses:

5778614_24131_18In my previous post I talked about EcoVibe Apparel and here I am talking about them again because I cant get enough! They have the cutest dresses perfect for Spring Break! Whether you are going out on the town or just to dinner, they have the best dresses. They range from $48-72 and have a variety of sleeveless, maxi, and t-shirt dresses available.

A new site that has super cute spring dresses is Green Orchyd. Green Orchyd has a mix of fancy and casual dresses. They are great for pulling over your bathing suit or going to a nice restaurant after a long day of laying in the sun. Ranging from $55-135.

Shoes:

Rockpillar is a sustainable, handmade footwear brand that offers adorable styles you can feel good about wearing. My favorite product of theirs is the Costa Sandal which is perfect for any spring breaker. “Costa means coast in Spanish. We hope you’re able to relax, take a moment, and put your toes in the sand.” This sandal is $85 but will last a lifetime!

Bags:

You always need the perfect beach bag and Sea Bags has the cutest sustainable bags. Each bag is made from recycled sails and has nautical themed drawings. They have everything from cross-body bags to duffle bags. Their prices range from $130-250, but are totally worth it.

Hats:

EcoVibe Apparel and Goorin Bros. both offer great hats that will have any spring breaker fitting right in. EcoVibe has Wool Felt Safari hat (pictured here) that comes in three different colors: grey, rust or black. Goorin Bros. has an array of floppy beach hats if you are looking for a more relaxed look. Each style ranges from $35-97.

From these awesome styles that I have suggested along with my favorite sustainable brands from my last post, your spring break will be guilt free (at least clothing wise). Each brand has something unique to offer so look through them to find more styles that fit your look. Have fun! xo.

My Favorite Sustainable and Ethical Fashion Brands

Everlane

$$$

“Know your factories. Know your costs. Always ask why.”

Everlane is a clothing company dedicated to transparency. They tell customers exactly what is happening during each step of the manufacturing process. They want their consumers to know exactly what they are getting, from where and how much it cost. They offer trendy styles you can buy without feeling guilty. Win win!

EcoVibe Apparel

$$

“Our core mission is to provide apparel, accessories and gifts that embody style, quality, beauty and sustainability.”

EcoVibe is another favorite that is easier on the wallet. They have a range of clothing and accessories that are all made ethically. They even donate 1% of their sales to 1% For The Planet, that connects businesses to help the environment. Yay for our wallets and yay for the environment.

48 & Sea

$$

“48 & SEA is an online shop focused on goods with purpose and beauty, made by female designers across America.”

48 & Sea is a collection of handcrafted pieces. They offer a range of items from handmade cards to delicate gold necklaces (my favorite). They also support female designers, and who doesn’t love some girl power! Check them out.

Alicia San Marcos

$$$

“Alicia San Marcos is an ethically made accessories line founded on the promise of providing access to education for children in Guatemala, a country where over 50% of people live in poverty.”

Alicia San Marcos offers beautifully crafted accessories. They specialize in mostly bags from beaded clutches to weekender bags. AND proceeds from each purchase go towards buying school supplies for children in poor communities. These bags are little above a college girls price range, but they goes towards something amazing so its worth it.

LA Relaxed

$$

“Where it’s made, who’s making it, and what it’s made of is at the heart of LA Relaxed. We believe that it’s time for the eco-friendly fashion movement to expand and move toward ‘responsibly made’ fashion.”

LA Relaxed is a eco-conscious fashion company that gives women comfy clothes without the cost. Their clothing is made from sustainable, organic and recycled fibers. Now these are some comfy clothes I won’t feel guilty wearing in bed all day!

There are so many more brands out there, don’t worry I’ll name a few more later, but for now these are my all time favorites and hopefully become yours, too! xo
